Air Baths

Thermo-air massage offers a combination of all the therapeutic elements necessary for optimal relaxation. Water offers the effects of weightlessness and relaxes muscles. Heat relaxes the body to make it more receptive to the benefits of the massage. The movement of air activates the lymphatic system and blood circulation. The combination of water, heat and air movement create an incomparable therapeutic effect and offer physical relaxation while relieving sore muscles or even pain related to ailments such as arthritis, osteoarthritis and rheumatism.

Air bath therapy also produces an effect of well-being throughout the whole body. It relaxes the muscles while stimulating the production of our natural analgesic hormones known as endorphins. Because of the stimulating but non-aggressive action of thermo-air massage, the elderly can also enjoy and benefit from it.

MTI offers two unique air systems: System Aria and Aria Elite. Both systems provide a light full-body massage through 20 air jets on the bottom of the bathing well. An unobtrusive electronic keypad allows adjustment of the speed and intensity of the air massage from soft and caressing to more vigorous. Or you can select the wave effect, which alternates the speed between strong and soft to create a very efficient lymphatic massage.

MTI air systems include an integrated aromatherapy diffusion system* which releases the benefits of pure essential oils through millions of tiny air bubbles. The scent is released when the bubbles burst at the surface of the bath water and the natural aroma fills the air, not the bath itself. The overall effect is one of true relaxation and luxury and adds to the lavish spa-like experience.

Aria Elite increases the luxury level by including the enhancement of 6 seven-port low-profile lateral air jets positioned on the sides of the bath for a total of 42 additional air streams. Aria Elite also adds the benefits of chromatherapy provided by digitally controlled and adjustable underwater LED lighting.
