MTI has designed and produced an exclusive collection of high-end, design-savvy products for the bathroom. Each product is a hand-made work of art that will transform the bathroom into a showcase of the extraordinary.
MTI’s solid-surface products are for those who want to make a design statement and are seeking products constructed of natural materials for a look and feel that is truly unique. Products in the Boutique Collection are all made in the USA and constructed using MTI’s "ESS" (Engineered Solid-Surface) material, which is a mixture of ground natural minerals and binding agents that are liquefied, poured and then hardened. Approximately 60% of the material is organic, including minerals mined from the earth and dirt, making it quite "Green". The result is molded stone. Both the material and the fabrication process offer great flexibility in designing and manufacturing products with very soft, fluid lines or with precise geometric angles.
In contrast to some composite material products on the market, MTI Boutique Collection products are solid through-and-through, with no layers, hollow or void areas. They are non-porous, stain-resistant, mold and mildew-resistant. Whether tub, sink or shower base, these products are easy to clean and will continue to look beautiful with minimal maintenance.

MTI has now enhanced and expanded its Boutique Collection with the addition of exciting new solid-surface products designed by Matthew Quinn, one of the nation's leading experts in kitchen and bath design. A major force in the design community for over 15 years, Quinn has garnered numerous design awards, including first place in the National Sub Zero/Wolf Kitchen Design competition. Matthew’s commitment to excellence and his design philosophy of simplicity as the ultimate sophistication are manifest in each product, resulting in a selection of tubs and sinks that exude beauty and luxury and elevate the MTI customization concept. These new products represent a collaborative effort between two dynamic forces - the imagination of an extremely talented kitchen and bath designer and the expertise of an award-winning manufacturer. The first offspring of this union are Intarcia and Eryx.
The Intarcia tub is classic, and it simply exudes class. Shown with matching sink, both are adorned with a blue lacquer wood inlay, adding elegance and individuality to the bath. As shown, the sink is installed semi-recessed, but it may also be installed as a drop-in, undermounted or set atop the vanity vessel-style. Intarcia tubs and sinks are available in White, Biscuit, Raven and Osprey colors.
Radiating timeless beauty, this Engineered Solid-Surface tub can be specified with either of two pedestal bases: the upright version shown to the left and the inverted version shown below it. Or with no pedestal base, as shown to the right. What’s more, Intarcia can be prepared at the factory ready for you to have installed the inlay of your choice – metal, glass, wood, stone, or any other material – in the tub, base or both, allowing bathers to personalize their bath environment as never before. Intarcia can also be equipped with an air bath system when specified with either pedestal base.

Matthew Quinn has also designed the Eryx tub with coordinating sink. Inspired by the shape of a dancer’s leg, the sloping angles of the Eryx sink’s design are asymmetrical and seem to defy gravity, creating a fixture of interest and awe! The pedestal sink has an energy that drives from the floor upward and away from the wall and the reverse infinity bowl with integrated horizontal drain blends seamlessly with a fascia that extends to the floor.
Angular and asymmetric, the Eryx matching tub is a geometric urban design that is modern yet elegant. This tub combines the crispness of Engineered Solid-Surface material with the warmth of beautiful FSC-Certified cherry wood accents at both ends. The Eryx tub is available as a freestanding model, pictured at the center in matte white, or as a wall-mount version, shown in Osprey at the right. The wall-mount version features a finished rear deck that connects the two end wood accents. This ledge accommodates faucetry and also enables Eryx to be equipped with an optional air bath system. Eryx tubs and sinks are available in White, Biscuit, Raven and Osprey colors.
