MTI Whirlpools brings together strength, beauty and fluidity with the new Teutonic Series of shower enclosures. Engineered with German precision, Teutonic enclosures define where design, strength, substance and grace come together. This formidable combination makes a statement and creates a spa experience like no other.
The unique design suggests motion, even while stationary. Rugged, industrial-looking rollers glide along a rock-solid stainless steel track, allowing anyone to effortlessly slide the 12mm (1/2") -thick, 200-pound sheet of tempered safety glass. Available in two finishes, stainless steel and polished chrome, all hardware is constructed of premium, solid stainless steel.
For Teutonic models that include a glass return panel, the enclosures are engineered with adjustable wall jambs for trouble-free installation and a finished appearance. Real-world problems of walls being out of plumb are easily addressed, eliminating the need for custom glass cuts. Wall jambs also allow for +/- 3/4" adjustment, compensating for variances due to tile thickness.
Nordic Series
The Nordic Series of enclosures features a true frameless design with no old-fashioned headers* for a clean, uncluttered appearance as well as convenient entry and exit, even for tall persons. All components used are of the finest materials. Glass doors and panels are constructed of substantial 10mm-thick** tempered safety glass, whose corners have a finely beveled edge for upscale appearance. For strength and durability, hinges and handles are made of cast brass, and hinges are attached through the glass to ensure security and long-term proper alignment.
The shower doors are designed to be watertight. Using the newest plastics technology, PVC and PVC co-extruded seals on all appropriate edges, these shower enclosures are constructed to keep water in. PVC seals with high UV protection and magnetic door closures ensure years of trouble-free, watertight performance.
