By the time you begin the product selection process, you have most likely determined whether you will be replacing, renovating or constructing an addition. And you have probably also decided whether your "look" will be classic, contemporary or transitional. Here's where MTI can help in numerous ways.
If you simply need to replace an original-build tub that is set in a small alcove, MTI can assist. The Audrey, for example, is a simple rectangular bath with a deep bowl, measuring 59.5" x 31" x 21". Currently there are 9 different 5' models available, all 32" wide or less, in various depths and in a variety of styles.
Undermounting creates a clean, contemporary look. Some MTI models have been designed specifically with undermounting in mind. Shown here is the spacious Manhattan. Other sizes and designs are available.
In product assortment, MTI offers well over 100 models of tubs alone, in different styles, shapes and sizes. Most tubs can be "dropped in", and many can be undermounted, where the top surrounding edge of the tub is mounted underneath the surrounding deck material of granite, marble, etc. There are also currently more than 20 different freestanding models from which to choose.
The Freida is a perfect replacement tub. It is deep, comfortable, has armrests and is perfect for a tub / shower combination. It is also designed for easy installation, with an integral tile flange on 3 sides, a pre-leveled foam base and an integrated front skirt (removable on models with whirlpool and / or air bath systems).
